COMSOL is a global provider of modeling and simulation software used by engineers and scientists in all fields of engineering, manufacturing, product design, and scientific research to simulate designs, devices, and processes. Our platform product, COMSOL Multiphysics®, includes functionality for creating physics-based models and simulation applications, as well as a workspace for modeling and simulation management.

 

Founded in 1986 by two KTH students, COMSOL is now a fast-growing company with 17 offices worldwide. Our center of development is the Stockholm office.

 

Most of our development is done in Java, C++, and C#, with teams dedicated to algorithms and applied math, distributed systems and databases, numerical analysis, high performance computing, graphics and scientific visualization, user interfaces, and several fields of physics.
